  I usually don’t buy my pets but, at the time, I was desperately trying to find a companion for my other Lab, Bella. Bella’s sister passed away and my poor girl was grieving horribly. We found Brentwood and found Bella the right medicine. We named him Chevy and he has turned out to be the smartest dog we have ever owned! We never had to “train” him. He instinctively, walks off leash, allows the human to enter a room first, comes when called, sits when told and settles at the snap of the fingers. The most endearing thing that folks like is his way of throwing the tennis ball back to you when he retrieves. We live at the beach and the children that visit the outer banks fight to throw the ball for Chevy. I would recommend Brentwood to anyone looking for a very well bred pet (or working dog). My son, who is a duck hunter, has tried many times to take my Chevy from me. Oh and Bella simply loves her new buddy!
